Left alt doesn't pick colours on Windows

This probably has something to do with alt being a global shortcut for activating menu items on Windows. I wonder if it would work if there wasn't a (native) menu bar...

I'm curious if it works with other programs (like Photoshop) on Windows.

Seems to be an issue for Photoshop on Windows as well, with several common hacks to work around it:

What we might have to do in Slate is provide an alternative modifier (like control or shift, or a combination) for this.
