I have just testing, and it's working with no issues for me. Test to update/install "Android tv launcher" and "Android home".
What's the language that you use on your shield ?
Hello @mistertest thanks for the help, you are great! Checking all: Using last release 4.3 , uninstall (restart) & install again. The apps android tv launcher & android home are updated. For some reason, the trouble was in the language, Im using the Spanish ( United States ) . I Tried to change it to English & Spanish (Spain) language, and it worked fine.
hello @Zsjean . Yes you'll have to use a language not a variant or mixed language on your shield tv, for the internationalisation of the app. I will using some new conditions in the app for using the principal language and redirecting to the principal language login and not his varriant. So it was the reason of your issue.

Seems great app, unfortunately doesn't work for me.
Installed v4.4 on Android Shield TV Pro 2019 with Android 11.
I am using Czech language in Shield settings but then app didn't load (empty/white screen). Switching it to English, logon screen and app interface opens correctly. But children don't understand language when ENG is set globally.
Maybe off topic but other issue is "Xbox wireless controller" which works in Shield and your app interface, it stops working when game is launched, no button react at all.
And the last one, when I am trying to SEARCH for some game and click in the search bar, keyboard tries to show up but immediately disappear with no possibility to enter anything.
Should I open separate issues?

Will create new issue for off-topic ones here and edit this post to clean it up. Only to sum weird things up, when I sideloaded original Game Pass, controller works without issues. Weird one is that when at that time I switched to the xcloud-shiled, controller worked! 👍 Maybe official app somehow initiated controller for games in Shiled...

For language: Localization is certainly the problem and it lacks conditions to activate your language in games. So to remedy this I will modify the code to integrate your language On Pc I see that your language is linked to the Iso code "cs-CZ" "https://www.xbox.com/cs-CZ" I should be able to solve this problem but I think I will have to add other languages that were not taken into account at the beginning of the xcloud service by Microsoft.
So I'm going to do tests on an app that you will keep, then a new version 4.5 app that will integrate these new languages, including yours, and other new fixes. I will come back to you in the next few days, with a version of xcloud-shied to test with your language.
For gamepad The application does not support multiple controllers at the same time or with difficulty. There may still be bugs and conflicts. So you will have to leave only one connected and disconnect any other physical bluetooth keyboard and unofficial remote control. I plan fixes for controller support and multi-connection issues in future releases.

Thank you for your great support. Right, language is ”cs-CZ" as you mentioned.
About the controller. I read other issues beforehand so first what I did was unplugging all other controllers but without success (disconnecting and forgetting all Bluetooth devices).
I unplugged two original Sony PS3 Sixaxis/DualShock 3 controllers and Android phone so only Xbox one was connected. Behavior was as I described in the first post. Later I disconnected also original Shield TV remote but no change (only Xbox controller was connected).
Only what had a real impact was running sideloaded original Game Pass which somehow initialized controller also in your app (in games), weird but nice 👍

Any news @mistertest ? Unfortunately I should return the borrowed controller on Monday😔 Will be able to test language issues only, nothing about the Xbox controller... Thx
Forgot to mention to the issue with the keyboard immediately hiding after open that maybe it is connected to the similar issue with cookies acceptation which flash on the screen during the start for microsecond without a chance to accept it. Had to record video what's going on, see screenshot 😏
@ExSport Hello I'll have to reinstall all my development environment in my new computer this week and I will be ok for working. For the cookies alert in millisecond it's normal, originally the popup is appear in the browser but you have to use the mouse for disable it so I hide it on the start of application but it's visible for one milisecond. I will working for no showing this definitively.
No problem with it, only mentioned it if it is not connected with Search/keyboard issue, see video in the link below. Btw. option to set resolution (720p/1080p) will be great for users with worse internet connection like me (spotted in other "issue" report). Thx👍 Video link
