Emoji picker doesn't obey emoji reaction menu settings
Summary
Fairly self-explanatory. If the user chooses to use the drawer on mobile for reactions, that should be reflected in other emoji pickers, namely making a note and the chat section.
The same problem appears with other Reactions settings. For example size of the emojis, number of rows, etc.
The settings only apply to the reaction picker on posts but don't apply to the emoji picker in the note creation pop-up.
It conflicts with the specification that the emoji picker can remain visible (although I have never found it useful).
Having used the emoji picker for a while where it closes each time, I think overall it's more convenient to have it obey the drawer settings and close each time.
This has been fixed in Calckey btw.
Please point to the relevant commit or it's not useful, unless if you just want to advertise your fork here.
It was more to demonstrate what the behavior was like. I can try and find the commit, but it was months ago. It may have also been multiple commits, and it was based on the Mk v12 UI, not v13.
