seed randomizes when switching between veiwing dimension and density function

so, if you view a density function, then switch to viewing a dimension, the seed changes, and vice versa. Im trying to find what is wrong with some of my code, but I cant compare the issue in dimension to things in density functions to see which one is going wrong because the seed randomizes and rearranges the things so I cant compare. (sorry if this is badly worded Im not good at terminology)
