Addresses #37 and #28

Big thanks to @MikeThomas123456 and @RMCob for getting this working, just looking to help this get into the main repo for the plugin

As @misenhower has not merged or made any updates in a while, I believe that @RMCob's fork should be used and updated until this one has signs of life. That fork also shows in the Homebridge UI Plugin Search, so it is not less accessible than this.
