strange log messages like

2013/03/19 04:50:53 WorldSession: ReceiveProc: Channel closed 127.0.0.1:57494 &~        #j##h#(0,0) mischief (@) (127,130) a630b092-86d6-49f5-6f09-f856734068ac tags: visible:true player:true

and

2013/03/19 04:49:18 ClientPacket: Reply: (Tgetplayer nil) -> 127.0.0.1:57493 (Rgetplayer "#qGA ZgH#)

indicate something funny is going on inside the places those fields are populated.
