Do you think I could power the 5v servo rail with an ESC instead?

I fear the BB Blue doesn't offer enough amperage on the 5V servo rail to power all of the servos in my plane. Would it be safe to disable power output on /sys/class/gpio/gpio80/value and provide power on that rail from the ESC of the plane instead?
