Inventories do not save MC Versions 1.20.2 - 1.20.4

Describe the bug Item inventories do not get saved.

Steps to reproduce Connect to any server 1.20.2 - 4 Open a chest. Text "recorded inventory XYZ" does not appear. Then load the saved map and the chest will be empty.

Also you will get timed out in 1.20.2 - 1.20.4 after just a few minutes connected.

HOWEVER!! connecting to a 1.20.1 server works just fine. Open a chest the text "Recorded Inventory XYZ" does appear and no time outs.

Version

  • Minecraft versions 1.20.2 and 1.20.4 Did not test 1.20.3 No servers running that version.
  • Downloader version 1.17.6 was used in all versions of Minecraft

Can confirm both the inventory saving and timeout issue.

Can also confirm both these issues. The timout issue is related to entities sleeping nearby.

Steps to reproduce timeout:

  1. Connect to any 1.20.4 server
  2. Have a villager with a bed near you
  3. Set time to night
  4. Timeout

I'm still having this persistent issue, no inventories, and also no chest content saving. 1.20.4. H'm hoping this can get resolved at some point.
