Can i make world gen happen on a downloaded world?

Hello, im running a server. though unfortunate events had made it so that i cant access the files and just able to log onto the server. i put the seed into the program, though when ever i go load the world. chunks i didnt load havent saved but that was to be expected. is there a way to make chunk selection occur again or atleast merge the chunk to another world with the same seed

I'm having this issue as well. It also says I'm using experimental settings when I first launch it in single player. I wonder if one of those settings is keeping normal world generation from happening. What are those settings and how to I change them? I really want a downloaded world to work on a server normally.

the generation will be inconsistent without the right seed, but the halted world generation is caused by a datapack placed in the world folder. Delete or rename it and world generation will happen as normal.
