Sinetek-rtsx.kext modified to have rts525a support, need test.
This driver is first out about a year ago, based on openbsd code, at that time there is no rts525a support. Several months ago, openbsd guys added support for rts525a and I tried to merge these changes. I have just built this, but have no sdcard to test out Source : https://github.com/maz-1/Sinetek-rtsx Driver: Sinetek-rtsx.kext.zip
Gonna test this afternoon! Thank you very much for all your work!

Not working for me. Kext is loading as shown in kextstats, but no SDHC device is found
Can you see rtsx in IORegistryExplorer?
yes, it's there ioreg.zip
Try this debug build. Insert a SDCard and dig into dmesg information Sinetek-rtsx_debug.kext.zip
nothing is shown in dmesg. i think it has something to do with missing when inserting/ejecting a card. I think something is wrong with USB conf as the card reader is not shown at all
Hi maz-1,
I tried using your build of Sintek rtsx kext ... i have HP Spectre X360 (2017 15" KBL) which has a SD card reader - 10EC 525A - Realtek RTS525A.
Running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6
rtsx shows up in ioreg with kext loaded ...

But when i insert a card the system reboots .... (KP i'm guessing) Happy to test and further development with this.
Cheers Jay
@JayMonkey Thanks, so it can be confirmed that the driver is completely broken on high sierra The kext is built with SDK 10.13 , maybe you can try to build the driver with SDK 10.12 to see if anything works.
@maz-1 ,
Hi .. I downloaded sources from your repo and built on my system ..
OSX 10.12.6 Xcode 9.0.1
The project built ok with no errors but there where around 50 warnings ... installed the kext in /S/L/E but no luck actually using it ... same as before ... kext loaded ok and bound to the pci device but as soon as i insert a sd card it reboots MacOS !!
Must be a pretty severe issue for it to reboot/KP MacOS like that ...
Hopefully Sinetek himself will get back to this project and get it working with latest MacOS.
Cheers Jay
