Encrypted backend

Would be nice to have an encrypted backend, built as a functor on top of an other backend.

not entirely sure, but one of the main issues is where to store the key/password (obviously not in the backend ;)) -- FreeBSD (geli https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/disks-encrypting.html ) uses XTS (amongst others) http://www.computer.org/csdl/mags/sp/2010/03/msp2010030068-abs.html and supports two-factor (key material in a file plus passphrase)
