Advanced R interest?
Hi all, Some folks are interested in working through the Advanced R chapters. https://adv-r.hadley.nz/ Please respond here if you would like to lead a session! Thanks!
I could lead a session, but I'm not sure what would be good to lead - I don't have experience with any of the advanced R material so I'm not sure what would be both useful and not too hard for me to prepare.
bump! revivify!
I just starting working through the Advanced R book, and would love to do a work-along and lead a session if there's still interest!
I'm still interested. Did you have a topic in mind?

I didn't have anything specific in mind, but would be happy to take on any of the chapters that garner interest. My preference would be to lead either: a) Object-oriented programming, or b) Environments
Another option (and one that might be a better option for this group) might be to do this book-club style, where we individually go over each section or meet up to go over it together. It depends on how many people are ready to move into the advanced stuff.

I would attend either of those, but my preference would be environments.
