Support for manual mark as read

I use miniflux as a todo list for all my RSS and youtube subscriptions, and mark entry as read only when I indeed read or watched it.

I have a fork, where I deleted all automatic marking as read parts of code: https://github.com/Omrigan/miniflux/commit/76bc16b1aefb9bc5a939e81714d55f4f82613d40

If I were to do it properly via configuration option and prepare a pull request, would it get merged? I suppose this feature would be helpful to others, and some other RSS readers support it.

I would love this - i have an issue whereby articles are immediately marked as read, meaning that if you are browsing on the unread tab, you can never go back to your previous article as it has been marked as read and removed from the Unread queue, which really drives me nuts!

I would second this feature request. Often I would want to open an entry and see if it is interesting but I don't have time in the moment to read it fully, so I wouldn't mark it as read just yet.

Second this feature request too. I think some months (year?) ago it was not automatically marking as read immediately, not sure if the behavior change was intentional or not.

It seems someone has already done the job #1374. Can we merge it then?

The pull request has the "rebase required" label, so I think some more work is needed. I'm really looking forward to this feature as well, as I also plan to use Miniflux for YouTube.

#1374 was just merged! I think this issue is resolved. :)
