Set several categories per feed
Hello,
First thanks for this tool ! We are using Miniflux with my team to gather RSS feeds and send notifications in several chans in Rocket.Chat based on categories. AFAIK It does not seem possible to set several categories for a feed. We tried to add several times the same feed with a different category each time to circumvent it, but it's not possible. Would you consider adding the feature to set several categories for a feed ? Thanks !
Usually several labels tend to be named as “tags”, which is orthogonal to “category”.
If this ever gets done, I’d suggest to leave categories alone and instead just introduce the concept of tags.
Well, categories, tags, labels, to me these words tend to be synonyms, if miniflux's intent is to be simple, my guess is that it would be "better" to add several categories rather than have a new feature with tags. Anyway if it should be labels or tags rather than categories, it's fine by me.
I'd also like to see this, though I agree about the naming. I'd be willing to contribute the code if the maintainers are interested in shipping the feature
