Feature Modification: Auto Correct On While Ignoring Usernames/Hashtags

Would it be possible have an option for auto correct to function as normal, but have it ignore usernames and hashtags (text after the @ or #)?

Right now it is either on or off. Would be nice to have it ignore the usernames and hashtags as that is where it mainly messes with stuff, but let if check spelling for everything else?

It is supposed to do this already but it seems to misbehave in some cases.
