Feature Request: Custom Search Columns

1. Does it really make sense to have a column for "Lists" that just has 3 fixed items? That could be moved to the top of the search column easily.

2. The layout of the list and search results scene is pretty bad on the TouchPad. The solution is to have dynamic columns. Tapping on one of the lists or opening search results would insert a new column and scroll to it with the results and an applicable title.

The dynamic columns should be remembered, and would need a close button. Ideally a user would still be able to open a new card and choose which columns appear in that card.

It would also be nice to allow adding a column for a DM conversation with a specific user

I'm always disappointed by fixed columns Twitter clients - only TweetDeck (Android) lets me have as X permanent columns:

• timeline,
• mentions,
• one or 2 custom searches (topics I'm constantly following),
• my favorites (used as bookmarks).

I'd like to hide altogether: lists, trending topics, and even DMs.

Done! You may now add timeline and mention columns for other accounts, and may add a list as a column. You may also add or remove any of the standard columns (which now includes favorites).

I have not yet (but plan to) added support for custom searches. I'll leave this open until that is done.
