Unable to change realm settings.

Open stormchaser3000 opened this issue 9 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug Whenever I attempt to change the game settings of a realm server, the changes do not take effect. This has been the same regardless of what platform I try to use to play the game (Linux, or macOS. aarch64 and x86_64)

I am reporting this because it has effected me for the entire time I have used this project (at least that I can remember) and I don't see a report from anyone else.

To Reproduce

  1. Click the play button and go to the settings for one of your realm servers.
  2. Attempt to change any setting (such as game difficulty, whether or not coordinates are to appear, adding friends, permissions change, etc.)
  3. Close out of the settings.

Expected behavior The desired change to the realm settings should take effect as soon as they are made. For example, changing from peaceful to normal should actually change the realm from peaceful to normal.

Screenshots

Attempting to change difficulty on a realm:

It's currently on peaceful mode realm-diff-switch1

I attempt to change the difficulty to normal realm-diff-switch2

After leaving the settings menu, going back to the game, then going back to the settings menu, the difficulty is still on peaceful and the game itself never changed into normal. realm-diff-switch3
