Minecraft Bedrock Launcher Latest Version Won't Let Me Add Realms or Join Realms

Downloaded latest version. I can no longer join realms I was playing and I cannot invite players to a new realm.

It might be relevant that it unexpectedly crashes every time I play, with error code 6
