Description of the bug

Hey Minecraft Dev Team,

I’ve been dealing with a super strange issue and I honestly have no idea what’s going wrong anymore.

I’m using IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate Edition, and I’ve tried everything to get the Minecraft Development plugin to work consistently. The problem is: • I can create a new project using the old Minecraft wizard (Maven + Bukkit) only once — but only after I fully uninstall IntelliJ (deleting all config/cache files) and reinstall it fresh. • When I try to create a second project (doing exactly the same steps), the dependencies won’t resolve, and everything breaks — even though the plugin appears to generate the project structure. • I always use the newest IntelliJ version and latest plugin version. • I’ve tried multiple Java SDKs, but nothing helps. • I’ve tried this on Community Edition, and it used to work, until an IntelliJ update broke it for me. Since then, it’s been completely unreliable. • I’ve tested other IDEs like Eclipse, and none of them really worked the way they should either. • I know other developers who use the same plugin and the same setup — and for them it just works perfectly, every time. So it’s not the plugin in general, it’s something with how it behaves for me.

Honestly, it’s incredibly frustrating. I love the plugin and the idea of using IntelliJ for Minecraft development, but this problem keeps blocking me. Do you have any idea what could be causing this or how I can fix it?

Thanks a lot for your work and support!
