Needed category option

Need an option to categorise records.

When I add a new record, there should be an option called "Category" or something like that in which I can type the category (e.g., Food, Cloths...). The category can be a editable drop down, so when the user starts typing in the textfield should list the previously saved categories in the drop down. When the user finished typing, if the category didn't exist already, it should be saved against the user.
