This allows `com.speedment.common.tuple` to be transitively used by only the join module and so the minimum runtime can be smaller.

Certainly possible to do. I will add this as a community request for future releases.

It is not likely that this will be implemented any time soon unless there is a commercial sponsor.

There are other packages too where this should be done, e.g. `com.speedment.tool.propertyeditor.editor`

Speedment has its own internal Connection Pool. Is the reason you would like a JNDI data source that you want to configure the connection parameters in a Java EE config...
