So sad about it. A simple app that does what we need it to do: opens WhatsApp and notify about messages without need for tweak on settings.

It was (temporarily) delisted by the Flathub team due to trademark violation: https://github.com/flathub/io.github.mimbrero.WhatsAppDesktop/issues/6.

Theoretically, it could be revived if the maintainer of this app changes its name and icon to better indicate that it's not officially affiliated with WhatsApp.

Hi It can be installed manually, from Terminal. You just have to confirm when it is mentioned that it was delisted:

flatpak install io.github.mimbrero.WhatsAppDesktop
