Not working - Google Chrome update required

Recently started getting the below request. I assume that it is the browser running in the app that just needs an update:

This is a recurrent problem already reported here. You might press Ctrl + R or delete ~/.var/app/io.github.mimbrero.WhatsAppDesktop cache. Hopefully everything is fine with mimbero and an update to bump Electron will be published till the end of this year

For me it worked out by uninstalling and delete the folder ~/.var/app/io.github.mimbrero.WhatsAppDesktop and reinstalling
