I haven't verified, but I don't think an "aside" is focusable (a "p" is also not focusable) thus the tabindex will have no effect on those. tabindex can be used...
Seems to work on windows 7 according to https://www.browserling.com/browse/win/7/chrome/92/https%3A%2F%2Fcharactercreator.org%2F For 20$ we can test with Windows 10.
