AC’s authentication problem

Open juite opened this issue 7 months ago • 1 comments

Hi,

First of all, thank you for the integration.

I have a question, this week we had an electricity dropout. When electricity came back, I started up all appliances and HA. There was a problem in all my AC’s, they won’t authenticate. I deleted and reconnected via automatic discovery and everything is OK again. Now my question, is there a way that it is not neccesary anymore to re-authenticate after electrical drop-out?

Thanks in advance.

I’m running HA 2025.4 and intergration version 2025.4

Hi.

Thanks for the data point. ~Unfortunately I don't know if there's anything I can do about that, but perhaps the logs might give a clue.~ Actually, I have an idea of what caused this but need logs to confirm.

Can you enable debug logging and then unplug/plug a single AC unit? Then after that, try reloading the integration to see if the device reconnects

I was experiencing the same issue. After checking the logs, I noticed that the AC’s IP address had changed, but the integration was still trying to use the old one. Assigning a static IP to the AC resolved the problem — I haven’t encountered the issue since.

Yeah the integration assumes the IP will be constant. I don't think I'll be changing that behavior.

Closing as stale.
