Pip doesn't (always) get installed automatically. Try installing it manually ```sudo apt-get install python3-pip```

Yeah this repo is more or less abandoned. I'm maintaining a fork here https://github.com/mill1000/midea-msmart where I fixed that issue.

I finally drank the Docker koolaid. Dependencies are no longer my problem. :) Any reason I shouldn't close this?

I don't this feature has been implemented yet.

Still an issue for me with Frontend 20230705.1 and Firefox 115.0.2

Pretty sure I still see this with the versions Core 2024.1.0 Frontend 20240103.3
