Arrow separators not displayed

Hello,

I just installed Powerline which seems very nice. In particular, I love the different colored backgrounds on the modeline and the arrow separator. Though, in my case, I don't get the arrows as you can see on http://screencast.com/t/C1JgCzZGja.

I have Emacs 24.3.93.1 (of 2014-08-15) on Windows.

I do have the arrow separators in Emacs 24.3.1 (of 2013-04-08) on Windows.

Bug in the newest Emacs versions?

The arrow separators work for me when running Emacs.app (24.4.9.0) but when I run the same build from the CLI (-nw), I get placeholders for the separators. Not sure if this helps but I am seeing this as well.

I'm seeing the same issue when running emacs on the command line, any ideas on how to fix this?

Same problem, no separators besides the placeholders when run in CLI.
