Feature Request: Liquid Glass Interface
As the title suggests – will Applite be updated to support macOS Tahoe's Liquid Glass interface?
I'll work on that definitely. I don't have much time right now, but I hope I can make the changes until the end of September.
Okay, I decided to test out Apple's claims of being able to simply recompile an app in Xcode 26 to get Liquid Glass, and can confirm that this DOES work! I only had to download your Xcode project, edit two lines across two files (the instances with the word "SwiftUICore" were just replaced with "SwiftUI" with the word "Core" removed), and the whole app worked instantly! I was even able to update an actual app installed on MY system from the recompiled release, so props to you for having everything work together so seamlessly! Whenever you get the chance, definitely give this a try, as the interface looks quite good in macOS Tahoe in my opinion.
About the only place that might look a bit odd is the checkbox for "Greedy Upgrade" with the Liquid Glass toolbar shape, but that doesn't affect usability.
I'll recompile the app and fix potential UI mistakes on the weekend. I think I can push the update by next week.
Update: The search bars seem bugged in macOS 26. They don't appear in certain places and the submit action is not triggered. There seems to be no workaround. I'll wait with the update until it's fixed.
