I don't see any reason not to add it — there's no problem from my side. However, I haven't personally used this shader before, so I don't have direct experience...
It looks AV1_AMF does not support both CQ and CRF. I will get AMD RX card in few days and find best way to handle bitrate control with AMF codecs
Already implemented in v2 that should be released in few weeks I don't plan backporting it for v1 which won't be supported after v2 release
