[jpgfish] "403 Forbidden" Issue

Open yunan-adil opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

image Above is one of the example "403 Forbidden" for jpgfish, jpg.church, or similar link always return 403. When I opened the link directly through the browser, everything works fine.

Is there something wrong with [jpgfish] extractor ?

Thanks

@mikf

I did some more tests. It seems like jpgfish can recognize gallery-dl somehow.

I used a proxy, user-agent string and tried also cookies from my Browser. I still got a Forbidden. When I try to access the site on my Desktop or curl from CLI I can access the site.

Playing around with some Sleep Settings and grabbing new Cookies, after visiting an album I am now able to download again images.

Looks like they did something to their DDos Guard Settings.

I think so. I think this is more on their side. To overcome this, they recommend me to just use a "mainstream VPN provider". And, it works. They blocked some datacenters that sent like spam or something. So, if a proxy/VPN using the same datacenters that they blocked, it won't work.

Same thing happens to me. Win11 onboard.
