Cookies from browser denied? - Instagram

[warning] cookies: [Errno 13] Permission denied:

Is the error i get when i tried to download using cookies from browser for instagram. It's my first time trying so i dont know how to do it either.

I did, gallery-dl --cookies-from-browser chrome URL

I closed chrome and tried it but i still cant, it says login required too + the previous error line i mentioned, is using gallery-dl --cookies-from-browser chrome URL correct? idk what to type in

Is there a way to remove gallery-dl completely so i can install it again?

Depends.. You gave no verbose log, no OS info, no installation method.

If you just use the standalone binary, there is nothing to remove. Simply delete the file. Again, a full verbose log would be useful, because if Chrome would actually not be running, this "[Errno 13] permission denied" is highly unlikely.
