Wanted to know if it would be possible to add an extractor for this website: https://assoholics.cc/

Its mostly for the pics and GIFS, the thing is they (pics) are hosted on some host pics website and its not the same for every post and the gifs are either on the website itself or the host pics website.

If it's possible it would be awesome !

Disclaimer The Assoholics.cc website does NOT store any of the pictures or videos on it's server. The website Assoholics.cc is only used as an index & linking system to other sites providing the actual content. The links on Assoholics.cc should serve as alternate back up options to videos or pictures you already own.

Do I get this right, you are describing the preview pics and gifs which are stored on some third-party image hosting site? You are aware that these are only sample pictures, only as a preview?

For the most part, they seem to be hosted on pixhost.to. Which is good, because this is already supported by gallery-dl.. But as you said, these sites like this assoholics one (which only exist to distribute the links to the usual OCH/Cyberlocker/Filehosting providers) usually do not rely on a single external hosting provider, because they are notoriously unreliable. You should expect that many pics from older "blog" entries on that site are simply no longer available.

The "blog article" entries seem to follow the same format (http://assoholics.cc/yyyy/mm/ID/), as far as I can see from a cursory look. Easy enough to scrape them, and get all supported links (as well as direct links to the embedded image resources .gif, .jpg, and so on), but it's probably very flaky, because as pointed out earlier, these image hosting sites are kind of unreliable..

Yeah like i said i know most pics/gifs are on image hosting and that website is more of an index (Yeah i already saw the disclamer, i said that pics were on a image hosting website :expressionless: which i know some are already supported by gallery-dl), i was more hoping of a way to simply scrap them from that index which, i know might be a long shot because of like you said, those images hosting website are unreliable
