anyone figure out a way to hide/disable the UI when pausing / fast forwarding / rewinding ?

I find myself constantly pausing and rewinding while trying to learn a new language using this awesome extension.. and the Netflix UI drives me nuts.. it's always in the way.. it only appears for a few seconds but it's annoying. I'd love to be able to use the keyboard to pause/rewind and not have the Netflix UI appear when I'm doing these things. I'd prefer to only see the subtitles and the media.. no UI.. anyone figure out how to achieve this? With an extension or otherwise.

It's probably out of scope for this extension but it would be so great if you could enable such a feature since it does go hand-in-hand with this extension's purpose in my opinion
