Update axios to version 0.21.2 and fix apiSpecs.js

hey @mikestead, just a small one - I guess we are the only ones using this apiSpecs feature since its been broken since the last release.

Happy to just work off our fork of this if you dont have the time to maintain this repo anymore. Also happy to contribute directly if you want to give me permissions.
