Jquery 1.11 Reset field text not working

When I use an older jquery version the text field resets to my default, with the latest version the filter resets, but the text field keeps the search string.

Hello, Still no clue what it can be? I use bootrap with:

in the inspector the text resets fine to default but it does not update the field in the browser
