Playing the devil's advocate for a moment… would Touch Bar support even be reasonable? Wouldn't it just steal productivity from your work on other NC features & improvements? After all, Apple have discontinued the Touch Bar. Users with older MacBook hardware including the Touch Bar (like me!) already have the option to closely integrate NC and touch using BetterTouchTool. (Which is a crazy awesome app btw.)

At some point in the future, Apple might integrate programmable touch functionality directly into the keys of the keyboard… or the keyboard itself would be one big touch area. If any of that happened—preferably the former—, that would be a good opportunity to revisit touch integration for NC.
