Archives Span

I am not a fan of tumblr's archive. I'd love to see a fixed Archives (span2 or 3) on the right side of the posts that would stay put while scrolling. Where I can select a month, say May 2011, and view all posts made in that month. I like the way klout does their archives section. (http://corp.klout.com/blog/)

Sounds good, perhaps as an optional feature via configuration variables.
