is amplify still being developed?
Doesn't look like it
Basically, appendTo shut down for a while then got bought, this pretty much halted development on the project as the staff there were maintaining it. I'm not sure what @mikehostetler plans to do with this, but right now there is no core maintainer/reviewer for PRs, features, fixes, etc.
This may be inappropriate here but I'm not one to ask for permission before doing things :)
Anyway, I'm the maintainer of msngr.js so if you're looking for an actively maintained library that supports pub / sub type of messaging you could always check that out. It doesn't provide a store API like Amplify but it does have basic AJAX like requests (so it can somewhat replace Amplify's APIs).
Anyone have any thoughts on setting up a fork to replace it?
@dotnetchris As Jordan said above, unfortunately there's no effort being spent towards Amplify at this time. I'm happy to bring on another maintainer or support a friendly fork.
