Glitchy with iOS 7

The first time this is called after application launch on iOS 7, it pauses for an extra 1-2 seconds in the middle of the animation. Does this happen to you to? Do you know a fix for it?

Happens to me.. Think it may be doing the viewDidLoad of the new view in the middle of the animation as opposed to up-front
