portal demo fps inadequate

looking at the screen you can clearly see slowdowns and perceived fps is maybe 10, but actual fps shown at 50±4 why so? this is latest 11.4 beta debugger under chrome, mac os x 10.7.4

I'm not too sure about that demo, I can't see the slowdown you're describing, and the Nape library has since had the portal related-code removed. So when I update to use the latest version of Nape, this demo will have to go too... for the time being at least.
