Reason seems to be that network is un-configured before `/lib/live/mount/medium` (and `/run/live/medium` + `/lib/live/mount`) is unmounted (which are mounted via NFS).
@Jurij-Ivastsuk Did you try to boot in debug mode? Also as @jkirk wrote, please test with the most recent Grml stable release (2018.12 as of today), 2014.11 is quite outdated.
The proper way to get this feature would be an according Debian package that we could pull in. I'm personally not a user of the neo layout and therefore don't...
No objections or alike, just lack of time on our side. Reworking `grml-lang` (and all the keyboard configuration stuff) is already on our agenda, just no one had the time...

Good point, `tmux` doesn't support serial consoles like `screen` does, though AFAICT you'd invoke it separately anyway (like `screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200`), so IIRC it should *not* matter for the ttys...
