Hi there, I really appreciate you putting this out there, messy links really bother me, especially when wanting to share them. It would be helpful to have commented instructions within the script on how to add one's own tags to remove. For instance, I've recently noticed Yelp putting in long HRID tags in theirs. I looked at the script but am no expert; if it were as simple as copying and pasting a new "return !/^utm_/.test(v) && v;" line and replacing UTM, that would be neat. I would guess that people wanting to do this would have at least basic coding skills like me, and you wouldn't have to go to the effort of adding actual complex configuration options or reworking it to add a dedicated section for adding tags.
