License of BlenderSCAD

What is the license of BlenderSCAD? I prefer MIT or BSD but it is still OK if it is GPL or LGPL.

I would like to make 3D models or modified library that uses BlenderSCAD.

Hi Lunavast, thank you for asking. BlenderSCAD is my humble contribution to the wide area of 3D modelling and printing. Blender, Slic3r and many other great projects out there (not to forget about open hardware) are great for hobbyists. That's why I'm also sharing my code. Therefore, I declare "BlenderSCAD is released unter the GPL" [If this is too restrictive at some point, let me know and there will probably be a solution]

Hi,

First, thank you for the excellent project!

Would you please consider re-licensing BlenderSCAD to the LGPLv2.1(or later)? The specific reason I have in mind is to allow code sharing between BlenderSCAD and SolidPython , which I think would be beneficial for both projects. Eventually I would like to create common libraries that will run in each project.

Note that since BlenderSCAD relies on the GPL Blender API, I don't believe that this change would really impact distribution, since that would still need to be compliant to the full GPL.
