Use of multiple cores of CPU

Open ghost opened this issue 10 years ago • 6 comments

Hello. I hope I write in the correct forum.

I've found a bug(?!) in the mining settings. If I set the number of cores on one I generate normal blocks. If I increase the number I lose the connection or shared additional cores are not used.

I hope you can understand me

best regards

If i set 2 cpu I don't lost the connection, but the cpu's number remain to 1.

OS: Windows 7 pro 64Bit up-to-date CPU: AMD FX8350 Twister Client Version: 00.09.26.00 Hash-Rate with 1 CPU-core: 47329

The connection abort is short (comparable to reset) If I enter for example a 2 "saves" it. The Hash-Rate but does not change.

I've had the cpu setting not make any effect on windows 64bit either.

i get the same problem, the current workaround is: set the cpu count, disable mining, reenable mining, hit F5 to check if it really submitted. seems to be just a missing event handler for the input field, so toggling the dropdown box submits the settings.

Hi,

i change my Sytem to Debian. Now i can use all Cores with a better Hash Rate. It works without problems.
