Setting must have changed:

➜  mikeOS git:(master) ✗ ./test-linux.sh                     
qemu-system-i386: -soundhw: invalid option

➜  mikeOS git:(master) ✗ qemu-system-i386 --version          
QEMU emulator version 9.2.0
