when I try to start from Ubuntu 20 64bit I run from terminal with sudo the AppImage
at processTicksAndRejections (internal/process/task_queues.js:85:5) at async Object.exports.connect (/tmp/.mount_SimpleX7zND4/resources/app.asar/node_modules/puppeteer-in-electron/bin/index.js:36:18) { message: 'invalid json response body at http://127.0.0.1/:null/json/version reason: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0', type: 'invalid-json' }
I believe the app should not be run as sudo. Don't know if it solves the problem but you can try.
It seems the issue is that find-free-port-sync cannot find a free TCP port to listen for the remote debugging protocol. Called from: https://github.com/TrevorSundberg/puppeteer-in-electron/blob/5309ad2911405a3debeb693059b90bb8017a0866/index.ts#L37
Maybe this can be solved by upgrading puppeteer-in-electron from 1.0.8 to 3, but we may need to upgrade elctron too.
I manage to run on Raspberry pi I try to run on PC without sudo also same result.Any way after 2 days use on second day I get warning from instagram too many follows I guess I set to lower amount I was not using this account from 10 months maybe that is the reason.Good work anyway.
