Blocked loading of a PDF file with high bandwidth consumption

When opening a PDF file (http://infoterre.brgm.fr/rapports/73-SGN-112-GEO.pdf) Midori only loads the first page and apparently remains blocked. When I look at my task manager I see a constant consumption of bandwidth (~10Mbits/s) continuously (even with only this tab open and after several tens of minutes).

Problem encountered with Midori 1.1.4 on Windows 10 2004. The same web file opened with Vivaldi works perfectly.
