Files download somewhere but do not know where...

The browser is evaluated as decently good... but the problem I have with it is that I need to download another browser to be able to download the files. Because the files download somewhere but have no idea where they download to...

The default location, at least in my case, for downloads is your downloads folder. But you don't even need to rely on that because as soon as the download finishes, midori sends a notification telling you that the download has completed and the location of the download.

Well... in theory. I am running midori on Guix. I have downloaded a file, but it does not open the containing folder. No download folder anywhere. No setting to choose the path for downloads. No way to find this file...
