Animation pauses when entering app switcher

All animations stop when in app switcher. Not sure if it is a feature or bug but it would be Nice if you could still see them through the blur,and wouldn’t have any difference on battery.

This is mostly on purpose, as it is detecting the springboard leaving the foreground, which stops the animation to cause less battery drain.

I figured that might be the case. Would it be difficult/possible to have it as an option? In the past weatherboard did this without any significant battery drain.
