Add a new certificate without replacing the existing certificate

How can i add a new Self-Signed Certificate whithout having the expired Certificate available?

May related to https://github.com/microsoftgraph/msgraph-sdk-powershell/issues/779 or https://github.com/microsoftgraph/msgraph-sdk-powershell/issues/270, but not clear. In both cases i need the existing one available in the Script which uploads the new.
